Medicare Options - 2026

What is Basic Medicare?

Medicare is a Federal Health Insurance program that covers most people 65 years old and over, some people younger than 65 with disabilities, people diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and those with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

Medicare is divided into several parts. Here is a brief overview of these parts:

Part A Deductible: Medicare does not pay the first $1736 of each Hospital stay

Premium: $202.90

 

PART B Deductible: $283

Medicare does not pay the first $283 of Medically necessary expenses

Medicare Supplements

Works with Original Medicare A & B

(also called Medigap)

Most include Prescription coverage

There are 10 Plans in AZ
 

  • Deductible: Up to $615

  • Initial Coverage up to $2100
    of the actual plan cost of drugs

  • Catastrophic: Over $2100 Plan pays full cost for your cover drugs. You pay nothing for covered Part D drugs
